Teach slaves to be subject to their masters in everything,
to try to please them, not to talk back to them,
and not to steal from them, but to show that they can be fully trusted,
so that in every way they will make the teaching about God our Savior attractive.
Titus 2:9-10
My Dear Child,
If you are in a position where you report to someone, I want to encourage you in your righteousness today. I know some days will be hard, and taskmasters can be difficult. But as a child of God who has been redeemed and sealed with the Holy Spirit, you have the power to overcome the urge to talk back, the power to please those you report to in both your actions and your speech, and the power to be totally honest in all things, even when no one is watching you. The Holy Spirit in you is working 24-7 to help you in any and every way.
When you live by these teachings of mine, and are compared to all the workers around you, you will not only stand out, but rise to the top in matters of trust. This is what makes Christianity more attractive to the unsaved world. When my children are head and shoulders above the rest in matters of both speech and ethics, it causes the unbelieving to take note, simply because those qualities I mentioned are so rare in the world you live in.
So don't lose heart. When you do the right thing, you make my teachings very attractive.
Your Loving Father,
God
