Godly Favor
May the favor of the Lord our God rest upon us; establish the work of our hands for us – yes, establish the work of our hands.
Psalm 90:17
My Dear Child,
Are there any facets to your job or your mission that tend to overwhelm you at times? Are you feeling that way today – inadequate for the task at hand, lacking in all the skills and knowledge that are necessary, or maybe finding yourself in a bind for time to complete all that is expected of you?
I have some good news for you. I know how to do your job perfectly. I have all the skills and wisdom that you need. I am fully able and willing to establish the work of your hands. Through My Holy Spirit I will instruct you throughout the day. And have you ever noticed that when you go to bed at night worrying about a problem, many times you wake up in the morning with the solution? That is because I also work all through the night, sometimes instructing you.
So come to me and ask for help. Whatever your dilemma, I can help you. The disciples didn’t think Jesus knew anything about fishing, but when they were obedient to cast their nets on “the other side of the boat,” as He said, they found that their vessel could hardly contain the catch.
So pay attention today to what I might be telling you. Yes, I will establish the work of your hands.
