Special Invitation

Then, because so many people were coming and going
that they did not even have a chance to eat, he said to them,
"Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest."

My Dear Child,
If you look around you, you will notice that for all of the so-called time-saving devices available to people today, they are still rushing around and coming and going, at times not even taking time to eat. And I can tell you that there are many more who are so busy they don't take time to ingest the nourishment of My Word.
I am personally inviting you today to come with me by yourself to a quiet place and put your mind and body at rest for a time. If you get an invitation from a friend, you generally accept it and make room in your schedule to fellowship with them in the way that they suggest. So today I am asking you to spend some time with me. And I am asking you today to give up multi-tasking while we fellowship...just this once. This time I want your mind and body totally committed to our fellowship. Consider this your invitation.
I will leave the time up to you because even though I am the God of the universe, I am available to you at any hour of the day. And likewise with the place for our meeting, I will leave that to you, for I am everywhere you go. I am really looking forward to it!
