In the midst of grief and loss, there is hope.

As I pack away the baskets and plastic eggs, I think how Easter has come and gone for this year. This holiday has a much deeper meaning to me in the last couple years. It is still a holiday filled with bunnies, treats, and dying eggs.  Most importantly though, it is a time to reflect on what our Lord and Savior has done for us.

During this time of year, I can’t help but think of my past couple Holidays. The Christmas’s that have come and gone, and how so much has changed in my life over the last couple of years.

Lessons taught by a 3 year old

Some days our little ones teach us some very important lessons. The other day I was taught a
lesson I will carry with me for a long time. During that “lesson” I saw that “little eyes” are
always watching what we do.
My Daughter, Hope, taught me a lesson today in forgiveness, as I have been carrying something

When hard times hit, do you choose to run with fear? Or fight it with faith?

When a difficult situation, a giant, is in front of you, there are two ways to face it.  You can be filled with fear and try to run.  Which usually gets you nowhere and in the end makes the situation harder.  Or, you can attack the giant with faith.  A faith backed by the presence of God and defended with the prayers of many.  Fear? Or faith?
