A      Acknowledge your desperate need for a Savior. “Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all people, because all sinned” (Romans 5:12).

B      Be brokenhearted over your sin. “For I know my transgressions, and my sin is always before me” (Psalm 51:3).

C      Cling to Christ who convicts, but never condemns! “Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us” (Romans 8:34).

D      Draw near to God. “Come near to God and he will come near to you” (James 4:8).

E       Examine your life. “Let us examine our ways and test them, and let us return to the Lord” (Lamentations 3:40).

F       Fear not! You are forgiven and free! “So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed” (John 8:36).

G      Give thanks for God’s grace. “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is a gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast” (Ephesians 2:8-9).

H      Hide in his wounds. “He was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed” (Isaiah 53:5).

I       Initiate faith conversations. “I do not hide your righteousness in my heart; I speak of your faithfulness and saving help” (Psalm 40:10).

J       Jesus loves you. (Remember and repeat!) “This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him” (1 John 4:9).

K      Know him more. “Grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ” (2 Peter 3:18).

L       Love beyond reason. “This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters” (1 John 3:16).

M     Mind the light. “I have come into the world as a light, so that no one who believes in me should stay in darkness” —Jesus (John 12:46).

N      Notice what he is making new. “See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland” (Isaiah 43:19).

O      Open his Word. “And beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, he explained to them what was said in all the Scriptures concerning himself” (Luke 24:27).

P       Pray about everything. “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God” (Philippians 4:6).

Q      Quiet your heart. “He makes me life down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters” (Psalm 23:2).

R      Remember. “This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me. This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you” —Jesus. (Luke 22:19, 20).

S       Sorrow. “My soul is overwhelmed with sorrow to the point of death. Stay here and keep watch with me” —Jesus (Matthew 26:38).

T      Take him at his word. “The Son of Man is going to be delivered into the hands of men. They will kill him, and after three days he will rise” —Jesus (Mark 9:31).

U      Up from the grave he arose! “He is not here; he has risen, just as he said” (Matthew 28:6).

V      Victory comes through Jesus. “Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?  But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ” (1 Corinthians 15:55, 57).

W     What can conquer you? Nothing! “In all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us” (Romans 8:37).

X      eXclaim: He is Lord! “At the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father” (Philippians 2:10-11).

Y      Yearn for this day. “There before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb” (Revelation 7:9).

Z      Zealously live out your mission. “Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age” (Matthew 28:19-20).
